On this #FundMeFriday I want to share an amazing app that I personally use and that makes money appear in my account without me having to do anything. I have been joking about it for a few years constantly saying that it’s like magic money and with me constantly telling people that they have to pay themselves first, this one is a no brainer.
The app that I am talking about is called Acorns. Do yourself a huge favor and download this free app. It is easy and very user friendly. All you do is download the app, answer a few questions and link a bank account or bank card, that’s it. After this setup, you don’t have to do anything. The way it works in as simple an explanation that I can provide, you buy something, anything, from anywhere, using the card you registered and if you spend for example, $1.82, your Acorns account will round up and take $.18 cents from your bank account and transfer it to your Acorns account. That’s it. You will be amazed how fast change adds up quickly. This is by far the easiest way to begin saving money.
I only discussed this one step through Acorns because it is such an amazing start to building a savings. Acorns also provides other ways of savings and earning actual free money but it’s important to take one step at a time. Do yourself a favor and at least try it.
