On this #MammothMonday, you need to ask yourself a huge question. Most people are just going with the flow of life but never really stop and ask themselves the “Why” question. Why do I want to be an entrepreneur? Being an entrepreneur is not about making some extra pocket money. It’s also not about doing extra side work to occupy your free time. Entrepreneurship is about taking control of your life. It is about wanting financial freedom and living a life of freedom while having total control over your life and doing what you love to do rather than doing what you have to do. Entrepreneurship is not about having a side hustle, it is about having that main hustle. It’s about taking control of your life, picking what makes you happy then creating a life around it. That is what today is about, #MammothMonday, going huge. Ask yourself the “Why” question and confirm your reason for wanting to be an entrepreneur.
Once you are sure about your “Why”, it’s time to ask yourself a few questions. Think of it like building a house. The “Why” is your foundation and these next questions are the building material to build that house. Get a pad and pen then answer these questions honestly. The first question being, what skills do you have? Can you do this work that you love or do you have to delegate it in order to get it done? That’s an important question because it’s going to steer you in the proper financial situation. That being said, the second question is, how much money do you have available to use toward this dream? How long can you actually afford to carry it before it starts making money? The third question to ask yourself is, what lifestyle are you trying to achieve? This is an important question because it determines the level of work that will be involved. For instance if you are looking for a six figure lifestyle you won’t be subjected to as much work as someone looking to live a seven figure lifestyle. Please do not confuse the word work with the word commitment because we will all have different levels of work but we will all have to put 100% of commitment into this entrepreneurial lifestyle.
So on this Mammoth Monday, you can’t go any bigger than looking yourself in the mirror and being brutally honest with yourself by asking these very eye opening questions. Don’t forget to be brutally honest with yourself because the only person you will be fooling is the person who stares back at you in the mirror.
It is my opinion that you should read a fantastic book called Crushing It by Gary Vaynerchuk. It is a great read by an absolutely amazing, straight forward and tell it like it is guy. Go get it from your local library. Borrow it from a friend. Or, get it from Amazon. Here is a link to it >> https://amzn.to/2OHJCFg
